Every home we build is personal, and earning the trust of our clients is something we never take for granted. David and Beth’s home was an especially rewarding project—one that required thoughtful collaboration, precision, and a shared commitment to bringing a distinctive architectural vision to life.

After living in their home and experiencing it through the seasons, David and Beth sent us the following letter. Their words mean a great deal to me and the entire LivModern team, and I’m honored to share them exactly as they were written.

What Makes a LivModern Home Extraordinary

Dear Dominic,

We are sorry it has taken us this long to write this thank you, but I have to say that the time that it has taken to write this, it has given us the time to appreciate all the quality workmanship of our home.

When we first met, we saw that you were intrigued by the house and understood some or maybe a lot of the challenges that would come with the project. We saw several of the homes that you built in the area, and we felt that you were the right person for the job. Before the actual construction began, there were several meetings with you, your team, the architect, and the designer. It was great to have all the key stakeholders together to understand all the different perspectives. I remember Milk Design, reached out to the Architect to understand his vision on the steel that they would be designing and installing for the terrace, this was something we greatly appreciated, because building a home is understanding everyone's vision. We appreciated the collaboration and professionalism of you and your team.

During the construction your team was on site daily; and you and the LivModern team were always available to answer any questions that we may have had.

We came to understand that building a modern home is no easy task, the precision and the detail of the construction is extremely important, and you and your team understand this. You brought together amazing subcontractors, who were all professional and artisans of their crafts.

The LivModern team was extraordinary! Not only do we appreciate the quality of the construction or our home, but individuals who pass by the house are also appreciating the construction. One comment that we received was "when you use great materials on a house, it really makes a difference", and this gentleman was correct. I think the compliment that we enjoyed the most was when a group of teenage boys drove past the house and we overheard them say, "that house is f***ing awesome."

It is skill and detail that also make a great house and LivModern built a beautiful home for us and the details are incredible!
